Dry Ice sublimates from solid to gas from the time it is produced. The Products are stored in Cold Square Dry Ice Trading LLC under stringent storage and ventilated conditions. Nevertheless, we are dedicated to give timely advice and safety instructions to the customer. We are against the adverse transportation, storage and usage of the products, without having the basic knowledge of the product. SAFETY is our topmost priority.
Cost Optimization is an Engineering decision factor. We strive to provide the minimum cost on the Products by meticulously calculating it often and arriving at the minimum cost as far as possible.
The product conforms to the highest quality and we do frequent checks to ensure this. The dense product provides the improved durability which satisfies the customer in addition to the Product Conformity. It sublimates over reasonable time and the Products are weighed just prior to the delivery.
The housekeeping and cleaning of the site and storing vessels are done frequently to ensure the hygienic product.
Hand Protection
- REMEMBER — Never handle dry ice with bare hands. Dry Ice can cause cold burn or frostbite due to its low temperature, -78.5 C.
- ALWAYS — use Protective Gloves.
- REMEMBER — Never play with dry ice; also, never allow children to touch, smell or taste dry ice.
- ALWAYS – Keep dry ice away from Children
- REMEMBER – Do not place in working refrigerator or freezer
- ALWAYS — use an insulated container to store dry ice.
- REMEMBER — DO NOT store dry ice in any gas tight container. Within large containers, gas rich atmospheres will have built up.
- ALWAYS — secure the container lid open before reaching in to unload the product.
- REMEMBER — Never store or use dry ice in closed or unventilated space like underground cellars, closed rooms etc.
- ALWAYS – Store dry ice in well ventilated areas, out of direct sunlight and sources of heat.
- ALWAYS – Use exhaust fans and install CO2 monitors in case of large storage.
- REMEMBER — AVOID transporting dry ice in the cab of a truck or the passenger compartment of a car.
- ALWAYS — Transport dry ice in vehicles where the driver’s cab is isolated from the load compartment.
- ALWAYS — Ensure that there is adequate ventilation during transportation and before entering load compartment to unload product.
Dry ice sublimates leaving no residue. However, care should be taken to dispose dry ice when surplus ice remains.
- REMEMBER — DO NOT dispose dry ice in an area where CO2 gas can collect in low-lying areas – garage pits, drains, confined spaces, etc.
- ALWAYS — Ensure that dry ice is disposed of in a safe, Well-Ventilated place, away from the access of passer-by especially children.
